labradorite
enlightened as i wish to be,
people frustrate me.
tetrahedrons collide,
brush past each other,
greet each other,
holler curses to the void.
everything vibrates —
like my brain when i’m anxious,
like trains on tracks
or mosquitos’ wings or spacetime.
people frustrate me.
they hurt.
i guess i must see them
from the wrong sides,
their dull and dusty rock faces
frowning in shadows.
angles matter;
only a few show the shine.
